On January 30, 2008 at approximately 10:36 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department

were in the area of Railroad Avenue and Anne Street when they observed a subject trespassing on posted property. The officers made contact with the suspect, listed below, and verified that he was in fact trespassing. The suspect was arrested, and a search of his person incident to arrest revealed a quantity of suspected crack/cocaine in his pocket.

ARRESTED: Jeffrey Cain Smith, 31 years of age

Ocean Pines, Maryland

CHARGES: Trespassing on posted property

Possession of cocaine

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On January 31, 2008 at approximately 10:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Delaware Avenue when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed subject # 1, for traffic violations. During the traffic stop, the subject was found to be driving with a suspended license. The subject was arrested, and a search of the vehicle incident to arrest revealed a quantity of suspected marijuana and a smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue. As a result of the search, the passenger was also placed under arrest.
