      On February 15, 2008 at approximately 12:39 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Delaware Avenue and W. Isabella St. when they observed a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect commit traffic violations. The vehicle was stopped, and a check on the suspect’s license revealed that his privileges were currently suspended. The suspect was arrested, and as he was removed from his vehicle, a bag of suspected crack/cocaine was found beneath his leg.

 

ARRESTED:      Gregory Alan Williams, 53 years of age

                            Seaford, Delaware

 

CHARGES:    Driving while suspended/revoked

                        Possession of cocaine

                    

DISPOSITION:  Released to Central Booking

     On February 15, 2008 at approximately 5:30 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Delaware Avenue and Pearl Street, when they observed the below listed suspect acting in a suspicious manner. The officers made contact with the suspect and noticed that the suspect had an item in his mouth. The suspect removed the item from his

mouth, which was revealed to be pieces of crack/cocaine.

 

ARRESTED:   Juvenile, 17 years of age

                        Bivalve, Maryland

 

CHARGES:   Possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute

                       Possession of cocaine

                      

DISPOSITION:  Released to Juvenile Justice

     On February 17, 2008 at approximately 2:22 p.m., Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Dollar General Store on Nanticoke Road, for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the officers met with employees who advised of the suspect and vehicle description, which was immediately broadcast to all responding officers. The employees advised that while in the store, the suspect had taken a cash register drawer containing U.S. currency from the employees and fled from the store. The vehicle was located and stopped by other responding officers, and the suspect was identified as the suspect from the robbery. The cash drawer and an amount of U.S. currency were recovered. There were no weapons displayed and there were no injuries.

     The suspect was also identified as the suspect involved in two earlier incidents, a strong arm robbery that occurred at the WaWa Store on North Salisbury Boulevard at 4:33 a.m., and an attempted robbery that occurred at the Shore Stop on Mt. Hermon Road at 7:04 a.m. The suspect was charged with his involvement in both of these incidents.
