On February
25, 2008 at approximately 2:39 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a
call to respond to the Food Lion store on Snow Hill Road for the report of a
robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the victim, a 93 year old female who
advised that she had been robbed as she entered her vehicle in the parking lot.
The victim advised that she had walked from the store to her vehicle and as she
entered her vehicle she was confronted by a lone suspect. The suspect produced
a knife and demanded U.S.
currency from the victim. The victim gave the suspect an amount of U.S. currency,
and the suspect fled from the area on foot. There were no injuries, and the
suspect is described as:
African-American male, approximately 5’10” to 6’00” tall, medium to thin
build, wearing a tan or brown jacket and khaki
pants.

On February 25,
2008 at approximately 10:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received
a call to respond to a residence on the 600 block of S. Division St. for the report of a
domestic type assault. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim and the
below listed suspect. The victim advised that the victim and the suspect had
been engaged in a domestic type argument which led to the suspect assaulting
the victim in the face and neck areas. The victim displayed injuries to the
officers which led to the arrest of the suspect. No medical assistance was
requested for the injuries.
ARRESTED: Christina Ann Jones, 20 years of age
Rhodesdale, Maryland
CHARGES: Second degree assault
DISPOSITION: Released
to Central Booking
