      On March 7, 2008 at approximately 8:50 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department

responded to a residence in Pittsville, MD, and arrested the below listed subject pursuant to an investigation by a Salisbury Detective assigned to the Child Advocacy Center. The investigation alleges that the suspect had sexual contact with an underage victim on more than one (1) occasion since January of 2008.

 

 

ARRESTED #1:    Ronald Brandon Jones, 23 years of age

                               Pittsville, Maryland

 

CHARGES:       Third degree sex offense (2 counts)

                           Fourth degree sex offense (2 counts)

                           Second degree assault (2 counts)

 

DISPOSITION:  Released to Central Booking

     On March 7, 2008 at approximately 1:45 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department

arrested the below listed suspect following the investigation of a number of thefts from the Target Department Store. An investigation by Salisbury Detectives revealed that the suspect had entered the store and had taken electronic items from the store on several occasions. The thefts from the store totaled over $ 1000.00. This investigation is continuing.

 

 

ARRESTED:        Shanna Elizabeth Esham-Coffin, 30 years of age

                              Long Neck, Delaware

 

CHARGES:            Theft (over $ 500)

                                Theft (under $ 500)

                                Theft scheme (over $ 500)                              

 

DISPOSITION:     Released to Central Booking

     On March 7, 2008 at approximately 8:50 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department responded to the Chesapeake Inn in Salisbury for the report of drug activity. Upon arrival, the officers were directed to a particular room and met with the below listed two (2) suspects. During the meeting with the suspects, the officers observed quantities of suspected crack/cocaine within the room in addition to several smoking devices containing suspected crack/cocaine residue.

 

ARRESTED #1:   James Kevin Stansbury, 48 years of age

                             Salisbury, Maryland

 

CHARGES:    Possession of cocaine

                        Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

                        Maintaining a common nuisance

 

ARRESTED #2:   Donte Lamont Bivens, 23 years of age

                              Salisbury, Maryland

 

CHARGES:     Possession of cocaine

                        Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

 

DISPOSITION:  Both suspects released to Central Booking

     On March 8, 2008 at approximately 12:37 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Cactus Club, in Salisbury, for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the officers were advised that the below listed subject had become disorderly inside of the establishment and had been asked to leave. Once in the parking lot, the suspect continued to act in a disorderly manner and was damaging a vehicle. The officers made contact with the suspect who was walking on the vehicle, causing a number of dents to appear on the vehicle, and attempting to break the windshield. The vehicle was found to be the property of a family member of the suspects. The suspect was taken into custody after a struggle with the officers.

 

     ARRESTED:     Ricky Dale Graham, 33 years of age

                                Pocomoke, Maryland

 

CHARGES:        Disorderly conduct

                            Intoxicated endangerment

                            Disturbing the peace

                            Second degree assault

                            Failure to obey a lawful order

                            Malicious Destruction of Property

 

DISPOSITION:    Released to Central Booking

     On March 8, 2008 at approximately 9:15 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the area of E. Railroad Avenue for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, the officers met with the victim who advised that he had been involved in an argument with the below listed suspect. The victim advised that the argument escalated into an altercation which resulted in the suspect retrieving a large knife from a residence and assaulting the victim with the knife. The suspect cut the victim on both arms and the left hand with the knife, before fleeing from the scene. The name of the suspect was broadcast to all officers, and officers were able to locate the suspect in close proximity to the site of the incident. The suspect was still in possession of the knife when arrested. The victim was treated at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

 

     ARRESTED:  Marcus Maurice Starks, 38 years of age

                             Salisbury, Maryland

 

    CHARGES:      First degree assault

                             Second degree assault

                             Reckless endangerment

                             Possession of a dangerous and deadly weapon with intent to injure

                             Concealment of a dangerous and deadly weapon

                             

 

    DISPOSITION:  Released to Central Booking
