On April 7, 2008 at approximately 5:44 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were involved in the investigation of a suspicious vehicle in the area of North U.S. Rt. 13. During the investigation of the occupants of the vehicle, it was found that one of the suspects, listed below, was wanted on a number of bad check and theft charges in the State of Virginia. It was found later that the suspect is also wanted for the same offenses in the State of Georgia.

ARRESTED: Terry Gene Marshall, 37 years of age

Nelsonia, Virginia

CHARGES: Fugitive from Justice from another State

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On April 8, 2008 at approximately 11:42 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to a residence on the six hundred block of Baker St. for the report of a home invasion type robbery. Upon arrival, Officers were advised by the victim that minutes prior, two (2) suspects had forced their way into his residence and had take U.S. currency from the victim at gunpoint. The victim was able to provide a description of the suspects and approximately 45 minutes later, the below listed suspect was located in the area of the robbery and was identified by the victim as one of the suspects. The investigation is continuing as to the second suspect.
