April 22, 2008

 

 

     On April 21, 2008 at approximately 4:19 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Donut Connection on Mt. Herman Road for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the officers met with employees and were advised that just prior two (2) suspects had entered the business. Below listed suspect # 1 approached the counter and requested change. When the employee opened the cash register, below listed suspect # 2 produced a handgun and ordered the employee away from the register. When the employee moved away, suspect # 1 removed the U.S. Currency from the register and both suspects fled from the business. There were no injuries. The suspects were described as follows:

 

Suspect # 1:     Black male, 6’05” tall, wearing a green hooded

                          sweatshirt, blue jeans and large sunglasses.

 

Suspect #2:       Black male, 6’05”tall, wearing a grey hooded

                           Sweatshirt with unknown lettering, blue jeans,

                           and also wearing large sunglasses

     On April 19, 2008 at approximately 10:42 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received information that a missing juvenile was located at the Ramada Inn in Salisbury. The officers responded to check for the juvenile and located the juvenile with a number of other juveniles and a single adult (listed below) in a room at the hotel. The room was also found to contain a quantity of suspected marijuana and related paraphernalia.  

 

ARRESTED #1:       Sarah Elizabeth Pons, 18 years of age

                                   Salisbury, Maryland

 

ARRESTED #2-9:    Five (5) juvenile females

                                   Three (3) juvenile males

 

CHARGES:               All subjects were charged with:

 

                                    1. Possession of Marijuana

 

DISPOSITION:         The adult was released to Central Booking,

                                     The juveniles were released to parents and

                                     guardians.

 

     The investigation is continuing as to further criminal charges for the adult, and a tenth (10th) juvenile will be charged.

     On April 20, 2008 at approximately 2:54 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Boscov’s Store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of two (2) shoplifters. Upon arrival, the officers met with employees who advised that the below listed two (2) suspects had been observed by employees taking clothing from the store without any attempts at payment.

 

ARRESTED #1:       Shaquana Robinson, 18 years of age

                                   Princess Anne, Maryland

 

ARRESTED #2:       Alison Grace Bittner, 18 years of age

                                   Princess Anne, Maryland

 

CHARGES:              Both charged with:

1.    Theft (under $100)

 

DISPOSITION:        Both released to Central Booking

     On April 21, 2008 at approximately 9:48 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department located and arrested the below listed suspect who was wanted on an outstanding Wicomico County District Court Body Attachment.

 

ARRESTED:       Paul Daniel Southard,  19 years of age

                              Salisbury, Maryland

 

CHARGES:         Body Attachment-Contempt of Court

 

DISPOSITION:    Released to Central Booking

     On April 22, 2008 at approximately 1:20 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Market Street Inn in Salisbury for the report of a disorderly subject. Upon arrival, the officers made contact with employees who advised that the below listed suspect had entered the restaurant and was throwing glasses on the floor, breaking the glasses. As the officers made contact with the suspect, the suspect became combative and was arrested.

 

ARRESTED:       John Walter Webb, Jr.,  24 years of age

                              Delmar, Delaware

 

CHARGES:          Trespassing

                               Disorderly conduct

                                Resisting Arrest

                               

DISPOSITION:     Released to Central Booking
